At Catholic Hospice, we believe that every person deserves to spend their final moments surrounded by joy, dignity, and the people they love. Through our Wishes Come True initiative, we help bring comfort and meaning to the end‑of‑life journey by granting one last wish that reflects what matters most to each patient.
Thanks to the kindness of our community, we make deeply personal experiences possible—beautiful birthday celebrations, comforting pet therapy visits, trips to places close to their hearts, peaceful outings, and thoughtful gestures that help them reconnect with the things they’ve always cherished. These moments often become treasured memories, offering healing and connection for patients and their families alike.

When one of our patients expressed how much she missed the simple joy of watching her beloved telenovelas, our Wishes Come True program stepped in to bring that comfort back into her life. We provided her with a television, restoring a cherished pastime that brought warmth, familiarity, and happiness to her days.

On another occasion, one of our pediatric patients shared the dream of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth with their family one last time, we knew how much that moment would mean. Through our Wishes Come True program, we were able to make that final wish a reality—giving the child and their loved ones a chance to experience the magic together, creating memories they will hold in their hearts forever.
Every wish we fulfill carries a story: a milestone honored, a special place visited one final time, a moment of joy created in the midst of difficult days. Through Wishes Come True, we help patients live fully, embracing the moments that bring meaning and peace.
This heartfelt program is possible because of generous supporters who believe in bringing comfort when it’s needed most. To help grant a patient’s final wish, please contact SpecialCare@catholichospice.org.
