Residency Program
Do you want to specialize in geriatric physical therapy but don't know how to start?

Our residency in geriatric physical therapy is a unique opportunity for you to develop advanced clinical skills in a mentored environment. The program was the first fully APTA credentialed geriatric residency in PT in the United States. The year-long program offers physical therapists the ability to gain structured experiences in a variety of post-acute care settings. Residents are mentored by expert faculty, including 9 Board certified geriatric specialists. Additionally, residents complete didactic training on-site with our own faculty as well as partner faculty from the University of Miami, Department of Physical Therapy. There is no tuition and residents earn a salary with benefits. Residency graduates will be qualified to sit for the ABPTS GCS exam.

Applications are accepted year round.
