Who would’ve guessed that Valentine’s Day would fall under American Heart Month? Coincidence? I think not.
Ironically, Valentine’s Day is often a time when we see schools encouraging the sharing of valentine cards with candy attached. We often buy our loved ones a box of chocolates, cook them a romantic dinner, or even take them out to a restaurant and leave the food prep to the professionals.
However, there are a few different ways we can honor American Heart Month without taking all of the fun out of celebrating Valentine’s Day. In fact, there are tons of activities you could use as date night ideas and easy modifications you can make to that candle-lit dinner that your cardiologist would likely approve.
