Flu Season is Upon Us
Brace yourselves: Flu season is in full swing. You’ve probably cringed at work listening to someone near you hacking up a lung and you probably sneezed sometime in the last week and feared for your life just a little bit.
Well, the good news is that there is plenty you can do to combat the germs and keep the flu out of your home.
Some of these include
- Making sure to get a good night’s sleep. Try to sleep at least 8 hours a night to prevent compromising your immune system during this critical time.
- Wash your hands. You don’t have to freak out over it, but practice good hygiene.
- Don’t share drinks with anyone. It is probably one of the easiest ways to spread a virus and a sip just isn’t worth the sick time.
- Daily regimens of vitamins, including Vitamin C and Zinc, can help to boost immunity. You can often find these in a lot of fruits and vegetables, as well.
