Are you in a thanksgiving state of mind?
Are you focusing on the positive and feeling grateful for all the good things in your life rather than what you’re missing?
Thanksgiving is around the corner to kick off the holiday season and it feels like the year flew by. We live in a fast-paced world that can feel frenzied and chaotic as we overwork ourselves in the pursuit of money, power, success and the desire to get what we want when we want it. This day reminds us to slow down, count our blessings and give thanks for them.
Gratitude is the attitude of this holiday and many of the things we should be thankful are sometimes taken for granted but are priceless. Our health, the love of our family and friends, a place to call home and a job to go to every morning are just some of the things that bring purpose to our life and should help us celebrate a joyful Thanksgiving.
Remember, there is always something to be thankful for. Catholic Health Services wishes you and yours have many reasons for which to feel thankful, grateful and blessed.
