Rev. John Ike Aduba

Fr. Aduba is from the Diocese of Issele-Uku in Nigeria where he attended Saints Peter & Paul Seminary in Ibadan, Nigeria. In 1981 he was ordained to the Catholic priesthood. Fr. Aduba served as pastor and in various other capacities within his Diocese before coming to the United States for further education. He completed an M.A. Degree in Counseling and an M.A. Degree in Theology and Ministry from the Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio. When he began working in the Diocese of Lansing, Michigan, Fr. Aduba began chaplaincy training in Clinical Pastoral Education. At this time, he served as the Catholic Chaplain in various hospitals and nursing homes.
“My inspiration was to become a priest and to minister as a priest” commented Fr. Aduba about his true passion. His continuous hard work and Pastoral Care leadership at St. Anne’s Nursing Center and Residence is what he sees as his greatest accomplishment to date.
