ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) or called Lou Gehrig’s disease and Post Polio Multidisciplinary Clinics:
The ALS and Post Polio Clinics are affiliated with the University of Miami, Department of Neurology, Dr. Ashok Verma and Dr. Khema Sharma. Patients are seen at U of M and then are scheduled (pending diagnosis) to the Interdisciplinary clinics at St. Catherine’s Rehab Hospital. The clinic approach incorporates Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy screenings, Nutrition, Psychology/ Social Worker, Respiratory Services, and a physician visit.

Parkinson’s Interdisciplinary Clinic
The Parkinson’s clinic is affiliated with the University of Miami, Department of Neurology;'s National Parkinson Foundation Center of Excellence. Patient’s are seen first by the physician at the University and then may be referred to the clinic here at St. Catherine’s which takes place the 3rd Thursday of every month from 1pm to 3:30pm. This clinic incorporates an interdisciplinary team approach which involves Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy evaluations, Social Worker, and a physician visit.

Wound Care Clinic
The Wound Care Clinic at St. Catherine's Rehabilitation Hospital is staffed by physicians, podiatrists and nurses who specialize in the management and treatment of open wounds. The clinic has an impressive record of healing chronic wounds. Patients with diabetes, peripheral vascular diseases, and many other conditions may benefit from the care of our wound specialists.
